Privacy Policy
1. No data collected. Remembera does not collect any personal data. There is no account and no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app does not send your documents or any information about you to MERICOME LLC or to anyone else.
2. Your data stays on your iPhone. Your items – pictures, names, expiration dates, tags and notes – and your settings are stored only on your iPhone, protected by iOS data protection and, if you turn it on, by App Lock (Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode). Reading text and dates from your documents happens entirely on the iPhone.
3. Reminders and widget. Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your iPhone; no server is involved. The Remembera widget shows names, types, tags and dates of your items on your Home Screen; this information is shared only between the app and its widget on the same iPhone.
4. Sharing and backups. Data leaves your iPhone only when you choose to share an item or to save a backup. Backups are encrypted with the password you choose; we cannot read them or recover a lost password. Where you save or send them (for example iCloud Drive, Mail or AirDrop) is covered by the privacy policy of that service.
5. Purchases. Premium purchases and subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store. We receive no payment information.
6. Contacting us. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and we do not share them.
7. Your rights. As we do not hold any of your data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Deleting the app, or using “Erase all now” in Settings › Backup / Restore, removes all its data from your iPhone. For any question, write to appsupport @ mericome.com.
8. Changes. If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at mericome.com/Remembera.
Terms & Conditions
1. Agreement. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to the Remembera app ("the App") provided by Mericome LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "EULA"). These Terms add to the EULA; where they conflict, the EULA prevails.
2. What the App does. The App stores pictures and details of your documents – such as ID cards, passports, insurance policies, warranties and receipts – and reminds you before they expire. It can read text, names and dates from your documents to fill in an item for you.
3. Your responsibility. Reminders and recognized details are an aid only. Always check the type, name and expiration date the App fills in. You remain responsible for renewing your documents on time and for meeting any deadline, entry requirement or legal obligation. Notifications depend on your iPhone's settings and may be delayed or not delivered.
4. Your data. Your items, pictures, tags and settings are stored only on your device. We do not run an account system or a server for your documents, and we do not collect, sell or share your personal data. Data leaves your device only when you choose to share it or to save a backup.
Backups are encrypted with the password you choose. We cannot recover a lost password or the contents of a backup. You are responsible for keeping your device, your backups and your password safe. Deleting the App, or using "Erase all now", permanently deletes the data stored in it.
5. Premium and subscriptions. Without Premium, the App keeps a limited number of items and photos and cannot restore backups. Premium is offered as a yearly subscription ("Yearly Premium") and as a one-time purchase ("Lifetime Premium"). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms.
6. Acceptable use. Use the App only for lawful purposes and only with documents you are entitled to keep. Do not attempt to copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the App, except as permitted by law or the EULA.
7. Intellectual property. The App, its design, text, graphics and code are owned by Mericome LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. Your documents remain yours.
8. No warranty. To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be error-free, that text or dates will be recognized correctly, or that reminders will always be delivered.
9. Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, Mericome LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, missed deadlines, expired documents, travel disruptions, fees or penalties arising from the use of or the inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Changes. We may update the App and these Terms. The current Terms are always available in the App under Menu → About and at www.mericome.com/Remembera. If you continue to use the App after a change, the updated Terms apply.
11. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory consumer protection.
